After 5 years in college dipping my toe in every pond possible, I finally graduated. It's a pretty bittersweet feeling. I had an incredible experience; was president of Quotes, the University of Central Florida's Public Relations club, held five internships in my field and met the most amazing people (including the love of my life). My very last internship, a copywriting internship with Emereo turned into a full time job and I couldn't be happier or more obsessed with the company and its incredible staff. I got very lucky but also worked very hard.
Graduation day was weird... it still hasn't hit me that I never need to present to a class again or study for another test. I guess when I'm actually working full time in January it may hit me then. But sitting along side my friends and crossing that stage was a crazy feeling. Surreal. I've had an unbelievable support system throughout college in my family, my boyfriend Matt and my close friends. I'm a lucky girl.
My dad attempted to take pictures of me after the ceremony saying that I needed to model like the girl standing a few feet away from us. She heard us of course, because he is incredibly loud, but at least some nice shots came out of it 😅.
I'm excited to start the next chapter of my life. #adulting
